Am i still your friend?

A while ago (after a few drinks…) some friends suggested I make a Facebook app that tells you when someone deletes you from their friends list. I added a few additional ideas to this and now we have an application which tells you when someone…

  • deletes you
  • changes their name (this happens a lot..never noticed until i added the feature!)
  • blocks you
  • unblocks you
  • deactivates their account
  • reactivates their account
  • adds you (not so helpful…but anyway)

A word of warning, it posts to your wall and will send you a daily email of the changes however you can turn these options on/off on the settings within the application. I won’t annoy you if i can help it :-)

Check it out for yourself @ https://apps.facebook.com/whoisntmyfriend

I think one of your advertisements caused my internet browser to resize, you might want to put that on your blacklist.

Hey Daigoumee, thanks for letting me know. I’ll check that out. I actually dont like having the advertisements there but they just scrape me over to breaking even on the applications hosting costs, so for now they’ll stay, but i’ll try figure out which one is causing that issue. What browser were you using and do you happen to know which ad it was?

Did FB take it down? The link doesn’t work.

Yep its down! Facebook got a bit nervous i think and decided we were growing too fast, we’ll work it out and bring it back once we can form an agreement with Facebook that we’re within their TOS and not going to get banned again.
